Sintaxia’s quality guarantee is two-fold. On the one hand, the tests given to members of our teams in order to join the firm are considered to be among the most demanding in our sector. In exchange, the company offers working conditions far beyond what is customary, which also guarantees the satisfaction and loyalty of the most-talented translators. On the other hand, each team has one or two supervisors who review everything translated and ensure that our strict production processes are followed.
Unlike what happens with translation agencies that subcontract out their services and therefore must seek suppliers for each order they receive, Sintaxia is capable of managing any project with great speed, since the texts arrive directly from the client to the translator, without a middleman. On the other hand, when the urgent requirements of a project so require, several team members collaborate simultaneously to increase the daily volume translated for the same client. Our teams are highly-experienced and work together within a common environment and supervision so that the texts produced jointly by several translators do not differ as to quality and language use. Sintaxia offers the working capacity of several translators with the same homogeneity as if the project were undertaken by one single person.
Documents received from a client are not forwarded to any external person, except in cases of languages not frequently translated in the Spanish market, such as Asian or African languages. Only Sintaxia employees, hired full-time on a permanent basis, have access to client documents. All members of our team are bound by confidentiality agreements which prevent any potential disclosure. In addition, the architecture of our IT system prevents a person from being able to remove or copy any document outside of our offices, thus providing yet another guarantee in our commitment to confidentiality.
Agencies that subcontract out to freelance translators cannot offer historical coherence to a client that orders translations frequently, since such coherence is conditioned on the availability and varied rates of their suppliers. At Sintaxia, all members of the various teams, separated by language pairs and by fields of specialization, have access to documents previously translated for the same client so as to ensure coherence in the use of terms and style of the new texts. Furthermore, our professionals are equipped with glossaries, style manuals, guidelines and conventions that everyone must follow, and their translations are always reviewed by the same supervisors. This helps our professional client maintain a homogeneous, coherent image through the texts the client publishes and uses in various languages throughout time, and not just in the original language.
Our teams are formed by multidisciplinary professionals, allowing us to offer the highest quality in diverse fields of work: legal, financial, commercial, banking, securities market, marketing, scientific-technical, etc. Furthermore, the close collaboration among our translators, a result of our business model of using in-house employees, allows for a vast overlapping of the specific qualities and expertise of each one and encourages a spirit of collaboration and assistance so that translations always present the quality Sintaxia’s seal represents.
Another advantage of our language services business model is the availability we offer our clients. The extensiveness of our staff allows all communications with our clients to be handled by telephone or e-mail, without delay, no matter the time zone where a given client might happen to be located. When the needs of a project require, double shifts are established or work is performed during evenings and weekends.
